THE NORMANDY PHOTOGRAPHS

These 12 images are part of a much larger series that follows the Allies ashore at H-Hour on D-Day, the 6th of June 1944. The photographs explore Juno Beach, where the Canadians landed, as well as structural remains of Hitler’s Atlantic Wall. The series also includes photographs of grave markers of soldiers buried in Canadian, British, American and German cemeteries, and many original documents related to their deaths.
